Use a hose clamp and some thick string to hang the bundle.

When a hank is needed, carefully comb enough hair together to make a hank (see Hair gauge) and cut just below the hose clamp. The bundle will never fall apart that way.

A 32 inch long bundle will provide 31 inches of working hank, more than enough for most bows. 

During days of low humidity, tighten the clamp a little more.
